Terms of service

These terms govern your use of glacien.lk and its subdomains (the "site") and any purchase made through them. By placing an order you accept these terms.

Orders

All orders are subject to availability and our acceptance. An order is confirmed when payment is received and you are issued an order number. We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion, for example where stock or payment cannot be verified; anything already paid for a cancelled order is refunded in full.

Pricing and payment

Prices are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and may change without notice; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Payments are processed securely by PayHere. We never see or store your card details.

The product

Each piece is described and photographed as accurately as possible. Minor variation in finish is part of the nature of powder-coated steel and is not a defect. The DuoFlow Pro is designed for hot and cold drinking use; damage from misuse, drops, or modification is not covered.

Ownership and risk

Ownership of and responsibility for an item pass to you on delivery to the address you provided.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the law of Sri Lanka, our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

Privacy policy

We collect what is needed to run the store, understand whether it works well, and fulfil the choices you make below.

What we collect

• Orders: your name, email, phone number, delivery address and order details, so we can fulfil and support your purchase.
• The registry: your email, phone number and preferred edition, if you choose to join the waitlist.
• Payments: handled entirely by PayHere. Card numbers never reach our systems.
• First-party operational analytics: a random visitor ID, a rolling 30-minute session ID, the page path, referring page path, campaign tags and approximate screen width. Visitor and session IDs live in local storage; this system does not use analytics cookies or send URL query strings.
• Optional Meta measurement: only after you choose “Allow Meta,” Meta Pixel may receive page, product, checkout, lead and verified purchase activity and may set the _fbp and _fbc cookies. If a Meta ad brought you here, its click identifier may be kept for the browser session. For a consented lead or purchase, our server may also send matching data such as hashed email or phone, order value, edition, IP address and browser details to Meta’s Conversions API. Hashing obscures the original contact value in transit but remains personal-data processing.

How we use it

We use order and registry details to process and deliver orders, send updates by email or WhatsApp, and write when a batch opens. First-party analytics helps us operate and improve the site. When you allow Meta, the browser Pixel and server-side Conversions API help measure advertising, attribute visits and improve campaign audiences. Browser and server events share an opaque event ID where needed so Meta can deduplicate them.

We do not sell or rent your information. Meta processes optional measurement data under its own privacy terms.

Where it lives

Order data is stored on our secured servers, with access limited to the people who run the store. Anonymous first-party visitor and session IDs are stored in your browser. Your Meta choice is kept for up to one year in a first-party cookie shared across GLACIEN’s site and shop, so we do not ask twice.

Pending Meta Conversions API matching fields are removed after successful or terminal delivery and expire within seven days. Non-payload delivery records are retained only for operational diagnostics and are pruned after 30 days.

Your choices

Meta stays off unless you explicitly allow it. “No thanks” records a rejection, and we also honour your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time; withdrawal stops future browser events and future server-side matching-data collection, and clears Meta attribution cookies available to this site. A consented checkout already submitted may retain its queued delivery record for the bounded period above. Anonymous first-party operational analytics continues either way.

Write to info@glacien.lk at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to leave the registry.

Delivery

We deliver island-wide across Sri Lanka by courier, typically within 1 to 5 working days of dispatch. You receive a notification when your order ships, and you can follow any order at the order page using your order number and email.

Please make sure the address and phone number on your order are correct; the courier will call the number provided. If a delivery cannot be completed after reasonable attempts, we will contact you to arrange redelivery.

Returns and refunds

Damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, write to info@glacien.lk within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will replace it, or refund it in full, at your choice. Replacement and return delivery in these cases is on us.

Change of mind

Unused items in their original condition and packaging may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Once received and inspected, the item price is refunded; return delivery is arranged and paid for by you. For hygiene reasons we cannot accept used drinkware.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through PayHere, normally within 5 to 10 working days of approval, depending on your bank.
